Bowls are the foundation and focus of our entire event, and we have bowls donated by professional potters, ceramics students, and clay novices whose first experience with clay is sometimes at an Empty Bowls workshop.

Additionally, Kristen Swanson made blank porcelain bowls and hosted workshops where artists in our community have come and painted them before they were glazed and fired.

We are privileged to have our first annual Loudoun Empty Bowls dinner at the beautiful Stone Tower Winery. Their generosity has been incredibly abundant as they are not only providing the wonderful venue, but are additionally donating a portion of all the wine sales that evening to Loudoun Empty Bowls.

The entertainment during dinner will be by the musical talents of Blue Night Sonata.

The beautiful flower arrangements are being donated by Kari Schriever of Lark Floral.

We are exceptionally grateful to these restaurants and businesses for their generous contributions of food and beverages for the 2014 Loudoun Empty Bowls dinner!
